Clearwater Compliance, LLC continues to expand its staff with the addition of new key professionals to their Products and Services Teams.
The product innovation team welcomes Curtis Miller. He joins Clearwater as the Director of System Architecture and Development. Miller brings over 9 years of experience in information technology design and development.
Throughout his career, Miller has demonstrated a track record of leading teams in developing and maintaining complex web application systems. Before joining the product innovation team at Clearwater, he co-founded and served as the Vice President and Lead Developer of Netzuri, Inc., a software development firm that specializes in providing quality software development consulting and staff augmentation to businesses.
His in-depth experience in all aspects of application architecture including software development, database administration, and network administration will be a vital asset to Clearwater. He has already demonstrated his value over the past four years given his key role in the development and support of Clearwater Compliance’s IRM|Pro™ software as lead architect and developer as a contractor.
Clearwater attributes its well-architected, clean software to Miller’s contributions. “We are pleased and proud to have Curtis join Clearwater due to the tremendous value he has contributed and will continue to add to the design and operation of our market-leading software,” says Bob Chaput, CEO of Clearwater.
Clearwater is also expanding their Services Delivery Team with the addition of new Principal Consultant Rich Curtiss.
Mr. Curtiss brings over 35 years of experience in diverse, executive IT experience across several verticals including Healthcare, Finance, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and Consulting Services. His most recent role was the senior cybersecurity official at a major university medical center in southeast Georgia.
His vast range of experience includes serving 22 years with the predecessor to the U.S. Navy Cyber Command in a variety of sensitive, national security positions across the globe. He has also developed information security management systems for two hospitals, and developed and implemented policies and procedures in support of the ISMS and executed risk analysis and assessment programs to ensure HIPAA and HITECH-compliance.
Mr. Curtiss has served in previous roles in executive information technology and cybersecurity positions as a CIO, CISO, Director and Program Manager. He is credentialed as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and IT Operations Specialist. Clearwater is proud to add Rich to the team due to his deep and broad expertise and application of regulatory controls and safeguards pursuant to cybersecurity best practices and associated compliance requirements (i.e., HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, FISMA, GLBA, SOX, PCI, etc.).
We have assisted more than 400 customers to operationalize and mature their information privacy, security, compliance and information risk management programs.
